How to Get the Drake Shield & Spada Sword in Crimson Desert

So, I just took down the Flame Knight, and now I need to grab Tristan’s Loot. It’s kinda weird, but it’s actually all the stuff that boss was using against me! Basically, I’m getting the Sparda Sword and the Drake Shield, and trust me, you’re gonna want to hold onto these – they’re awesome pieces of gear.

We’ll show you where to find all of Tristan’s Loot in Crimson Desert to help you finish the Greed and Ashes quest. We’ll also highlight each item so you can decide if it’s best to keep it for yourself or sell it for profit to become more powerful.

Want to get the Flame Knight armor set? This guide shows you exactly where to find each piece, whether you’re after the look or want to complete the set with the Sparda Sword and Drake Shield.

How to Get the Sparda Sword in Crimson Desert

Tristan’s Loot #1 Location

  • The Spada Sword is found on the second floor in the Flame Knight’s Castle.
  • Head up the stairs past Lyle the Merchant and take an immediate left, where you can find a bunch of training dummies.
  • Now, face the north wall, where you can find the Spada Sword sitting and waiting for you to claim it.
  • The Spada Sword has the following stats:
Attack 19
Critical Rate Lv 1
Attack Speed Lv 2
Refinement 4
Abyss Gears (3) Attack Speed 1 Critical Rate 1 Empty Slot

Once fully upgraded, the Spada Sword offers 30 Attack power and a Level 2 Attack Speed, making it a solid, though not top-tier, one-handed weapon.

How to Get the Drake Shield in Crimson Desert

Tristan’s Loot #2 Location

  • The Drake’s Shield is found on the top floor in the Flame Knight’s Castle.
  • Head up the stairs, past Lyle the Merchant, and take a left up the additional stairs.
  • From here, head to the northeast wall, where you will find a bunch of cannonballs and wooden boards.
  • On a sandbag, shown above, you can find the Drake Shield, which has the following stats:
Defense 7
Movement Speed Lv 2
Refinement 4
Special Effects Draconic Retribution

The Drake Shield is decent, mainly because of its Draconic Retribution feature. If you successfully block three attacks in a row, you’ll gain a charge, letting you unleash fire damage by pressing L1 and R2.

Because the Drake Shield can’t use Abyss Gears, it’s generally better to choose a different shield.
