The new Totenreich map is here, and it’s packed with secrets and hidden references – including a walkthrough for the main quest! While there are tons of easter eggs to find, from lighthearted ones to some surprisingly dark ones (looking at you, Richtofen), the Fishy Fish Bot trap really stands out and deserves a closer look.
Totenreich has a few fun little secrets, like the Gnome Easter Egg. But have you ever wished you could transform T.E.D.D. into a singing fish that hangs on the wall and entertains the undead? If that sounds good to you – and it definitely should! – then check out the simple instructions below.
T.E.D.D. Fish Easter Egg Overview in Totenreich
- Grab the fish from the Lighthouse’s Beacon Island in the red hut with the Arsenal.
- Purchase a Shock Charge from the Crafting Table.
- Interact with the T.E.D.D Task to place the fish and throw the Shock Charge on T.E.D.D.
- Complete the T.E.D.D. Task and pick up the fish and controller.
- Build the Fishy Fish Bot trap in Eidsjallen Square, at the antique store.
How to Build the Fishy Fish Bot in Totenreich
First, you’ll need a bucket of fish. You can find this on Beacon Island, in a small shack on the west side, near the Arsenal. This is the island with the Lighthouse, so remember to make sure the power is on before you go!
To proceed, you’ll need a Shock Charge. You can craft one at the Crafting Table for 350 Salvage – find it in the “Tactical” section.
Now, you need to wait for a T.E.D.D. Task to start – it begins randomly at the beginning of each round. When it does, interact with T.E.D.D. and attach the fish you found. After that, you can throw the Shock Charge at T.E.D.D.
Finish the T.E.D.D. Task, and if you get the best possible score, you’ll receive a fish and a controller near the chest.
Once you’ve collected all the necessary parts, go to the antique store in Eidskallen Square – it’s where you’ll find the Arsenal. There, you can interact with the wooden mount on the southeast wall to assemble the Fishy Fish Bot.
The Fishy Fish Bot trap is now available for 2,000 Essence. When used, it turns T.E.D.D. into a singing fish, which will distract some of the zombies. Once the trap stops working, all the distracted zombies will become Charmed with Brain Rot.
