Have you ever found stacks of Gold Bars stuck to the ground while exploring the Crimson Desert? Good news – with Crimson Desert Patch 1.05, you can now collect them! However, there’s a catch: these aren’t real Gold Bars, they’re actually Crude Gold Bars.
You can find Crude Gold Bars in the locations marked on the map below. They don’t have a use right now, but a future update might change that – we’ve added things like this before! See the guide below for details.

We’ve found Crude Gold Bars in a few notable locations, which we’ll tag below for you to check out:
Harpy’s Nest
The Harpy’s Nest can be found on the mountain just northwest of the “A” in “Pailune” on the map. If you come here before you have the “Queen of the Skies” Pailune Militia Faction Quest, you will avoid a boss fight with Karanda, and you can loot the Crude Gold Bars, to which we found 100!
The Crude Gold Bars are quite hard to spot, as they’re covered in snow, but they are there!
Vault of Vengeance
You can reach the Vault of Vengeance from the Spire of the Stars > Sanctorum of Insight > Secret Garden. Once inside, you’ll be able to find a true abundance of Crude Gold Bars on the outskirts of the central room. In fact, we managed to get 128!
While there are other places to find Crude Gold Bars, these locations offer so much that you likely won’t need to search elsewhere.
Can You Turn Crude Gold Bars Into Gold Bars in Crimson Desert?
- Crude Gold Bars can be sold to vendors for 5 Silver Coins.
- Considering you can easily find over 100 Crude Gold Bars in each location, that’s an easy profit of 500 Silver Coins!
- As of Patch 1.05, you cannot convert Crude Gold Bars into regular Gold Bars, but we assume that Pearl Abyss will have something up their sleeve in a future update, as they do love to surprise the player base!
