Collecting special badges featuring My Little Pony characters was a fun addition to the game during the Heartopia and My Little Pony team-up. Because the badges are given out randomly, many players end up with copies of the same ones, while others have a hard time getting the complete collection.
Trading badges is a great way for players to complete their collections, get more Exhibition Passes, and save Harmony Energy Gems. But the badge trading system in Heartopia can be tricky if you’re just starting out. This guide will walk you through how it works.
How to Trade My Little Pony Badges in Heartopia
Before you trade any My Little Pony badges, keep in mind that you can only trade duplicates. Heartopia doesn’t let you give away the only one you have of a particular badge.
You can trade My Little Pony badges exclusively through the event page. To get started, go to the My Little Pony event page and click on the ‘Souvenir’ section. Then, open ‘Event Details’ to find the ‘Send Badge’ option.
You can send badges to others once you have at least two identical copies of the same badge. If all your badges are unique, the option to send them won’t be available.
How to Start a Badge Trade in Heartopia
If you have two of the same badge, trading them is easy. Just walk up to the player you want to trade with – this could be a friend or someone in your Downward Gaze group.
Next, go to the My Little Pony event page and find the Souvenir section. Tap the “Send Badge” button, and you’ll be asked to choose which duplicate badge you want to send. After you select one, you’ll see a small icon appear over your character’s head.
To give the badge to another player, they need to tap the icon. Once they confirm, the badge will be sent right away. If you’re trading badges with someone, they’ll do the same thing to send their extra badge back to you.
When well-organized, swapping badges at the My Little Pony event makes it much more fun and allows fans to connect with each other.
To finish collecting souvenir sets faster, trading with friends is a great way to save time. You can also connect with other Heartopia players through various Facebook groups and the official Heartopia Discord server.
