Heartopia is constantly adding new things to do, and the Modular Street Festival is one of their most substantial events yet. Similar to the Winter Fashionwave, it introduces temporary fish, damselflies, recipes, collectibles, and decorations. The event is quite full of content, so starting your collections late or spending your Brick Tickets unwisely can make it difficult to finish the rarer sets before the event changes each week.
Okay, so the Modular Street event is kicking off on May 9th, 2026 in Heartopia. To even start it, I need to find some kind of festival collectible and take it to Azure. This guide is going to walk me through everything I need to know about the whole event, which is awesome!
How to Start the Modular Streets Festival in Heartopia
When you start the game during the event, Azure will reach out to tell you about the festival. If you miss her call, you can find it in your watch’s missed calls and call her back.
To get started in Azure, you need to find a festival collectible before you can fully access the event. The fastest way to do this is by going to the Forest and catching a Brick Damselfly. These new insects are easy to find because they look like tiny, colorful toy bugs made of bricks.
After you’ve caught a creature, head back to Central Town and speak with Azure. This will give you complete access to the Modular Streets Festival features.
Tap the balloon icon at the top of your screen to find weekly challenges, claim rewards, view event tasks, and visit the festival store.
Modular Streets Festival Weekly Challenges and Rewards
As a fan, I’m really excited about how the Modular Streets Festival is rolling out! It’s not all available at once, which is actually cool. They’re doing it in weekly phases, so each week brings new things to do. At first, you’ll only have a few tasks, but more and more content unlocks as the weeks go on. It keeps things fresh and gives us something to look forward to!
You earn Festival Points by finishing weekly missions. These points let you level up your rewards and unlock things like Wishing Stars, materials for crafting, and special cosmetic items. Some rewards are available for free, while others require buying a Festival Pack.
There are two kinds of Festival Packs for this event:
The $5 Festival Pack gives you access to special rewards as you level up to 60. You’ll immediately get the Vanya Brick Fishing Rod, and earn up to 300 Heart Diamonds as you play. This fishing rod is a favorite cosmetic item – its bobber features a cute little Vanya figure!
For just $11, the Festival Pack gives you everything in the standard pack, plus immediately jumps your festival level to 15. You’ll also earn 10% more from selling festival tokens and get special decorations, including a Brick Tree Building Permit and a pink chat bubble.
Modular Streets Festival Week 2 Content
Brick Birds won’t appear until the second week of the event, so you don’t need to look for them during the first week.
In the weeks ahead, we plan to add even more mushrooms and ingredients, like Enoki and Trumpet Mushrooms.
Modular Streets Festival Event Quests and Brick Tickets
As a player, I’m really excited about the Event tab! It’s got these limited-time festival quests that give you awesome rewards – things like packs of materials, special tokens for the festival, wishing stars, and even Brick Tickets. It’s a great way to get extra goodies!
Brick Tickets are key to unlocking special events in the game. They allow you to host events like Brick Fish and Brick Insect Events, giving you a chance to catch rare creatures. You mainly earn these tickets by completing festival quests, and sometimes by catching Brick Damselflies.
Special events cost 20 Brick Tickets each, so saving them for rare creatures is a smart choice.
Modular Street Festival Store Rewards
You can trade Festival Tokens at the Azure’s Festival Store for special decorations and cosmetic items. Blue Tokens are used to purchase specific decorations for ponds and aquariums.
Players can earn a variety of rewards like Vanya and Blanc figures, themed houses, playmats, and decorations for fish tanks, ponds, and reptile habitats. Popular choices include emotes and decorative stores, with the Vanya Ice Cream Store model being a particularly sought-after item.
Players can also unlock free emotes by visiting specific event locations:
- Outside the Research Lab in Central Town.
- Above Massimo’s shop by jumping onto the awning.
During the event, you can unlock a special emote just for you and a friend by interacting with them for seven days in a row.
All Modular Street Fish Locations
The event adds several Brick Clownfish variants found in the East Sea where Vanya stands.
Here are all the currently available fish and where to catch them.
| Fish | Location | Time |
|---|---|---|
| Blue Brick Clownfish | East Sea (Forest) | Any |
| Green Brick Clownfish | East Sea (Forest) | Any |
| Purple Brick Clownfish | East Sea (Forest) | Any |
| Red Brick Clownfish | East Sea (Forest) | Any |
| Colorful Brick Clownfish | Brick Fish Event | Any |
The Colorful Brick Clownfish isn’t found in the wild. It only appears during the Brick Fish Event, which you start using Brick Tickets. If you’re trying to catch this rare colorful version, remember to bring plenty of bait, as it might take several tries!
All Modular Street Damselfly Locations
Brick Damselflies can be found in several areas on the map, with each color variation appearing in a unique location.
Here are all the currently available damselflies and their locations:
| Bug | Location |
|---|---|
| Pink Brick Large Red Damselfly | Jump Puzzle |
| Yellow Brick Large Red Damselfly | Spirit Oak Pine Forest |
| Blue Brick Large Red Damselfly | Deer Tower |
| Purple Brick Large Red Damselfly | Forest Island |
| Colorful Brick Large Red Damselfly | Brick Insect Event |
The Colorful Brick Damselfly is only available during Naniwa’s limited-time Brick Insect Event.
Modular Street Festival Limited-Time Crops
The Modular Streets Festival features special, temporary crops and plants. You’ll need some of these to make certain recipes, and others are perfect for decorating or creating new flower types.
Because these plants vanish when the event is over, it’s a good idea to gather seeds ahead of time and grow more than you need before the last week.
| Crop | How to Get | Uses |
|---|---|---|
| Lemon Verbena | Purchased from Blanc | Required for all Verbena Pie recipes |
| Brick Bloom Flowers | Purchased from Blanc | Decorative flowers that can be hybridized into higher star variants |
Brick Bloom flowers breed like regular flowers. Putting flowers of the same rarity close together can create better seeds, giving you a chance to grow more unusual decorations during the event.
