Tyr’s Head, the large robot found sleeping on the Storm Bridge in the far north of Totenreich, hides two secret surprises. One gives you coordinates and free power-ups, and the other lets you teleport to unusual spots beyond the game’s boundaries.
Totenreich’s areas work similarly to the teleporting rooms in Kino der Toten – you reach them by teleporting from Tyr’s Head. But, unlike Kino, where you go is random. We’ll cover how to improve your chances of teleporting to secret rooms and what rewards you can find there.
All Secret Rooms in Totenreich & How to Reach Them
After powering on, you’ll enter Tyr’s Head. When you exit through the tubes, there’s a chance you’ll briefly appear in a hidden room – it lasts about 10 seconds, and the room is chosen at random. You can improve your chances of finding it, though.
You can access Tyr’s Head twice each round. There are two entrances: Tyr’s Foot, which is north of the Core Factory, and Tyr’s Shoulder, located north of the Skallen Market.
When you teleport to the three hidden rooms in Totenreich, it’s totally random. It doesn’t matter which tube you choose from Tyr’s Head – we’ve reached all three rooms using Tube 4 before, and sometimes haven’t teleported to any of them at all.
Liberty Falls Hotel
If you head to the Liberty Falls Hotel and turn around, you’ll find the AK-27 available for purchase, plus some free gear. You can also listen to dialogue from Ravenov that ties into the world of MWZ!
Von List’s Castle
The M34 Novaline Wallbuy is located in Von List’s Castle, at the end of a long hallway. You can also collect some useful equipment there before you’re teleported away.
Requiem’s Fate
You can locate the Dravec 45 Wallbuy in this area. You’ll also discover what happened to the Requiem crew – they activated a device and made a final stand together. Don’t forget to collect any useful equipment you find.
If you’re playing on Cursed Tier 2 or higher, you can discover hidden items in the Liberty Falls Hotel and the Requiem Room. These items are essential for obtaining the Agarthan Device Relic. We’ve created a guide to help you find them – you can access it here!
