How to Upgrade the ID Bracelet in 007 First Light

So, Isola and I have gotten pretty far in 007 First Light, but we’re not done yet. Now, in the ‘Wave of the Future’ mission, I need to upgrade my ID Bracelet, and it’s located in the Security Office. Getting to the Security Office is proving to be a bit of a challenge, though!

The Security Office is securely locked, meaning you’ll have to find a ventilation shaft to get in. If you’re having trouble, we’ve included a detailed walkthrough to help you.

You can upgrade your ID Bracelet in the Security Office in a few different ways, and we’ve included details on those below. This guide, though, will focus on the simplest approach.

How to Get Into the Security Office and Upgrade the ID Bracelet in 007 First Light

Go down the upstairs hallway, and to the left of the locked Security Room, you’ll find stairs leading down. There’s an open office area with a woman using a tablet. You need to pick up a Lighter that’s right next to her, but first, you’ll have to get her attention by turning on the vacuum cleaner.

If you stand near the office, you’ll overhear a conversation between two characters. This will start a new task: reading a message found on a desk inside.

Now that you have the lighter, use it on the trash can in the southwest corner. This will make the man in the office come check it out. Then, go into the office and use the charging station to get the woman’s attention. While they’re both distracted, you can look at the message on the desk.

Now that you’ve seen the memo, go back to the meeting room and talk to the person in charge. Once you’ve spoken with her for a moment, everyone else will leave, allowing you to approach the vent without being observed.

Go into the vent and turn right. You’ll eventually come to the Security Room, but be prepared to fight two guards. Don’t worry about defeating them or avoiding detection, though – these guards don’t affect any of the Ghost or Pacifist challenges!

I’m so excited! I just found the Upgrade Station and can finally upgrade my ID Bracelet. This means I can head back to Isola and get into the Command Center – awesome!

You can improve the ID Bracelet in the Security Office through other methods, which also count as completing challenges. These include Attention to Detail, Surrender, and Snoop Around.
