How to Use the Atomkraft Core in Totenreich (Black Ops 7 Zombies)

The Atomkraft Core is a key item needed to complete the main Easter Egg quest in Totenreich, but you can only obtain it near the very end. This guide will walk you through how to get the Atomkraft Core and what to do with it once you have it.

The Atomkraft Core provides power for Tyr, the massive robot. However, before you can use it, you’ll need to fully charge the Core and battle through waves of undead enemies and icy obstacles to reach your goal. See below for easy-to-follow instructions!

To get the Atomkraft Core, you’ll first need to collect three pieces of Uranium and then solve the Claw Machine puzzle. You can find instructions for getting the Uranium and completing the puzzle in the guide linked below.

How to Charge the Atomkraft Core in Totenreich

Okay, so once I grabbed the Atomkraft Core from the Machine Workshop, I had to haul it over to Eidskallen Landing – it’s just to the right of where you get the Quick Revive perk. The annoying thing is, I couldn’t run or use any ziplines while carrying it! I basically had to jump around and take out zombies as I went. It was a bit of a slow trip, but totally worth it.

After placing the Atomkraft Core on the right side of your palette next to Quick Revive, go into the Lief’s Boat Repair building behind it and flip the power switch on the west wall. This will start a lockdown where you need to defend the Atomkraft Core from zombies.

We suggest practicing near Quick Revive and circling Lief’s Boat Repair. Pay attention to the Atomkraft Core and look for sparks on the generator outside. Once the blue sparks disappear, go back inside Lief’s Boat Repair and restart the generator.

Repeat this process two times, and each attempt should take about 70 seconds. You’ll succeed when the Atomkraft Core transforms into a Charged Atomkraft Core. If it doesn’t work, just retrieve the Atomkraft Core, restart the generator, and try again.

For the next part, you’ll need to transport the Charged Atomkraft Core to Storm Bridge during a blizzard, and you’ll be taking continuous damage. We suggest using the Jotunn Star, Jugger-Nog, and Stim Shots to help you through it.

How to Use the Charged Atomkraft Core in Totenreich

After obtaining the Charged Atomkraft Core, quickly run through Eidskallen Square and Skallen Market to get to the Storm Bridge. Be prepared for frequent frost attacks along the way, and watch out for ice walls that will appear – you can break these down if needed.

Okay, so if you want to get through this part without freezing or getting swarmed, you absolutely have to use the Charged Atomkraft Core and head straight for the Storm Bridge with the Jotunn Star. Seriously, it’s the only way to blast through all the ice walls and avoid those zombies – it’s a lifesaver!

Right in the middle of Storm Bridge, across from Deadshot Daiquiri, put the Charged Atomkraft Core on a barrel so it faces Tyr. This will cause Dravakar to appear, and Tyr will immediately start attacking him. Just a heads-up: even though it looks awesome, zombies can still come after you during this fight!

Once you finish the Charged Atomkraft Core task, you’ll be able to get the Dravakar Shard from Tyr’s Foot. You’ll need this shard to complete one of the last steps in the main story.
