Well, well, well, it seems like the institutions just can’t get enough of that sweet, sweet Ethereum! According to data from the on-chain analytics firm Glassnode, the US Ethereum spot ETFs have been seeing net inflows for eight consecutive weeks now. That’s right, folks, the demand for ETH among the big players is still going strong!
Ethereum Spot ETF Netflow: A Green Streak That’s Making Us Green With Envy! ๐
Now, for those of you who find cryptocurrency exchanges and wallets a bit too overwhelming, fear not! The Ethereum spot ETFs allow investors to gain exposure to the asset without having to directly own it. These ETFs trade on traditional platforms, making it easier for those who prefer a more familiar investment method.
As you can see from the chart shared by Glassnode, the American Ethereum spot ETFs have been on a roll lately. Last week saw a net inflow of 61,000 ETH, worth $157.3 million at the current exchange rate. That’s a whole lot of ETH flowing into these ETFs, and it’s been happening for eight straight weeks!
Since institutional investors are the ones who generally take this investment route into Ethereum, the continuous inflows could be a sign of sustained demand from them. Despite this interest, the ETH price has remained locked in a phase of sideways movement. But hey, who needs price action when you’ve got a steady stream of institutional money flowing in, right? ๐
Ethereum isn’t the only asset that’s observing demand on the ETFs. Bitcoin has also been enjoying net inflows, as the on-chain analytics firm Santiment has pointed out. It seems like the big players can’t resist the allure of both ETH and BTC!
In some other news, Ethereum has observed new on-chain capital inflows during the past week, as Glassnode has revealed. The metric for the Realized Cap of coins aged less than 1 week has seen an increase for both ETH and Solana, indicating fresh capital has flowed in. The latter has outperformed the former, but let’s not start any ETH vs. SOL debates here!
ETH Price: Up, Up, and Away! ๐
At the time of writing, Ethereum is floating around $2,580, up over 5% in the last week. With all this institutional interest and inflows, who knows how high ETH could go? ๐๐
