However, over time, my hunting skills have significantly improved, allowing me to swiftly penetrate the wyvern’s hardened underbelly and turn it into clothing items such as slacks in a matter of minutes within the Wilds now.

You see, when I face a monster, I often find myself performing unnecessary actions like dodging and counterattacking. Instead, I could have been effortlessly annihilating it with a powerful bowgun that has been significantly enhanced with damage-boosting skills, to the point where it could potentially wipe out a deity. My bad.
Analyzing Aco’s remarkable showcase of Monster Hunter combat prowess requires careful examination, as the specifics about their build and abilities are briefly shown towards the end of the video and, unfortunately, the video is in Japanese, making it difficult for me to understand.
It appears that Aco’s Artian heavy bowgun has been fortified, offering affinity enhancements and a water attribute. This enables it to deliver critical strikes effectively against Gravios, given its vulnerability towards the ammo type used. Additionally, Aco is equipped with enough Gore Magala armor pieces to activate the complete Black Eclipse set bonus. This boosts attack power versus large creatures and instills Frenzy upon the user.
Due to Aco’s high damage output, Frenzy recovers swiftly, restoring its bonus affinity upon recovery. Additionally, Aco is equipped with the Corrupted Mantle, which increases attack and affinity with each strike, although its health-draining aspect is insignificant given Aco’s ability to quickly eliminate monsters.
As a fan, I’m all about customizing ACO’s decoration slots with gems that offer some amazing skills! For instance, there are ones that boost the Water Attack skill, increasing the damage I inflict on water-based enemies. Another set enhances Critical Element, amplifying the elemental damage when I score a critical hit. And let’s not forget Critical Boost, which supercharges my crits for even greater impact!
On top of that, Agitator is maxed out, a skill that ramps up both my attack power and affinity whenever I’m battling an enraged giant monster like a Gravios. You know, the one that’s not exactly pleased about being caught off guard with an onslaught of unprecedented force!
With a pair of enhancements for boosted attacks, the final scene showcases a powerful water-ammo bowgun unleashing a fierce barrage, turning into a relentless downpour that causes immense damage. The adventure kicks off—albeit somewhat misnamed, given the circumstances—as ACO initiates by firing a flash pod to stun the Gravios. Followed swiftly by a barrage of water bullets, the Gravios is left helpless, stumbling until it’s cornered and subdued in just 37 seconds.
Ever since Monster Hunter Wilds dropped, there’s been quite a buzz about its difficulty level compared to earlier versions. But let me tell you, when I took down that Tempered Gravios in less than a minute, I wasn’t sure if that fit into the debate! Building a character for this game isn’t exactly beginner-friendly, and it seems like strategy and math skills are more important than raw strength.
