As an avid manga enthusiast, I can’t help but feel exhilarated about one of the most renowned and globally acclaimed series: JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure! The fervor for this captivating tale seems to be insatiable, with fans spanning across the globe who continue to multiply day by day. Recently, the buzz among fan circles has been centered around the Steel Ball Run anime that was announced earlier this year. We can’t wait to see what unfolds next!
Steel Ball Run Anime Drops A Massive Update
Steel Ball Run Episode 1 Has Finished Sound Production

- Steel Ball Run was officially announced in 2025
- The anime’s release date is currently unknown
Yoshikazu Iwanami, who oversees sounds in Steel Ball Run’s production, posted on his account (previously known as Twitter) that they have wrapped up sound work for the premiere episode of Steel Ball Run. He also revealed that the music theme for the series is titled ‘Dance with Steel Ball Run.’ In a humorous remark, Iwanami expressed a desire to win an Emmy Award for Outstanding Sound.
The Steel Ball Run anime does not currently have an official release date, but fans are eagerly anticipating its arrival. However, due to the studio’s commitment to delivering a top-notch adaptation, it seems unlikely that we’ll see the anime anytime soon. Since David Production only announced the project recently, many speculate that the Steel Ball Run anime may not debut until 2027.
Fans of JoJo should make note of September 26 on their calendars as it’s when some fresh news will be revealed. It’s expected that the studio will unveil a new trailer for the anime to give fans a sneak peek into what’s coming up. To date, David Production has done an exceptional job with all the series instalments.
Netflix Needs To Alter Its Strategy
Fervent supporters are hoping that Netflix adopts a fresh method of handling Stone Ocean compared to its previous approach. The anime was divided into multiple segments, causing episodes to be distributed in groups instead of weekly. This move sparked significant criticism from fans due to the extended waiting periods between new episodes. Months-long waits left viewers feeling frustrated. Moreover, this strategy appeared to diminish fan interest. Here’s hoping that Netflix alters its strategy and reverts to a weekly episode release.
