The man, the myth, the Tron legend-Justin Sun-took to the great expanse of X (formerly Twitter) recently to publicly address the World Liberty Financial (WLFI) team. You won’t believe what he said! Well, actually, you probably will. The crypto mogul is begging (yes, *begging*) for them to unfreeze his WLFI token allocation after his precious assets were blacklisted under the dubious accusation of “suspicious transactions.” Suspicious transactions? Is he really that shady? Well, keep reading, the plot thickens…
Justin Sun: The Accused Token Seller or Just a Poor Victim?
It all started last Thursday when Sun’s WLFI pre-sale allocation was frozen because of some “unauthorized sales.” According to some whistleblowers (well, blockchain analytics platforms), Nansen and Arkham Intelligence flagged certain transactions, which apparently “looked suspicious.” And guess what? It led to accusations of a $9 million premature sell-off of tokens.
In his post, Sun-always the poet-referred to decentralized blockchain technology as “sacred and inviolable” (he loves a good drama). He’s clearly not impressed with the blacklisting of his pre-sale tokens, considering it “totally unreasonable.” And who can blame him? He’s practically the patron saint of cryptocurrency. 🙄
“To the World Liberty Financials team and the global community,”
“As one of the early major investors in World Liberty Financials, I have contributed not only capital but also my trust and support for the future of this project. My goal has always been to grow alongside the team…”
– H.E. Justin Sun 👨🚀 (Astronaut Version) (@justinsuntron) September 5, 2025
What a dramatic entrance! Sun claims he’s just an innocent investor who only wants the best for WLFI. 😏
He’s Got 600 Million WLFI Tokens… And He’s Not Selling (for Now)
When WLFI had its Token Generation Event (TGE) on September 1, unlocking 20% of the total 100 billion tokens, Sun took the chance to dive headfirst into the pool of riches. He claimed 600 million WLFI tokens, worth about $200 million at the time of the TGE. Yes, you read that right-*600 million* tokens. That’s 3% of the unlocked tokens, making Sun a massive shareholder and key player in WLFI’s governance.
Arkham Intelligence-because they have nothing better to do-also noticed that Sun holds almost $1 billion worth of the token. Just imagine the level of *influence* this guy has! He’s practically the puppet master of WLFI now. Sun’s commitment to the project, however, remains “strong,” as he’s promised he won’t be selling his tokens anytime soon. Really? I mean, come on, who’s he fooling? 🤔
Is Sun a Token Sellout or a Crypto Saint?
Despite these grand promises, there’s always a catch, right? Some crypto analysts are calling Sun out, suggesting he might be unloading his tokens way before they vest. The infamous Quinten François on X threw a little shade, implying that if Sun really did lure in WLFI tokens with promises of high returns and then sold them off to exit his position, then he definitely deserves a token freeze.
If Justin Sun really lured in WLFI tokens from HTX users with a 20% APY to lock them, and then sell them to get out of ‘his’ own position while they’re still unvested, then he deserves to get his account frozen.

Oof, Quinten. That’s some serious accusation, and Sun? Well, he’s having none of it. He’s denied any wrongdoing and insists his crypto empire is as pure as the blockchain itself. He’s demanding his tokens back, not to sell them (for now) but to continue supporting the growth of World Liberty Financial. 🚀
In the meantime, Justin Sun has taken to defending himself elsewhere too. Last month, he filed a restraining order against Bloomberg for publishing false info about his holdings. He really doesn’t like the press getting in his business. 📰💼
