Oh, the madness! South Korea’s wacky neobank, KBank, is on a trademark rampage, filing 13 (yes, THIRTEEN!) applications for stablecoin wallets. Names like KSC Wallet, KSTA Wallet, and the ever-so-clever Kbank SC Wallet are about to flood the market. Why? Because nothing says “financial innovation” like a dozen slightly different names for the same thing! And guess what? They’re doing all this while sprinting towards their IPO like it’s the last train to Moneyville.

KBank’s IPO: Third Time’s the Charm… Maybe?

Remember that time KBank filed trademark applications for stablecoin tickers in July 2025? Well, they’re back, baby! According to KIPRIS’s database (which is basically the Dewey Decimal System of crypto), these applications are classified into everything from digital currency software to NFT-related shenanigans. Oh, and crypto mining too-because why not?

Their planned wallet system is so comprehensive, it’ll handle remittances, payments, settlements, and probably your dry cleaning if you ask nicely. Meanwhile, KBank is on its third IPO attempt. That’s right, THIRD. The first two in 2023 and 2024 were as successful as a silent comedy in a noisy theater. But hey, they’re aiming for a KOSPI listing on March 5, 2026. Mark your calendars… or don’t.

IPO Fever: Everyone’s Jumping on the Bandwagon!

In other news, Ledger-yes, the hardware wallet folks-are planning a $4 billion IPO on Wall Street. Because nothing says “we’ve made it” like going public in the land of the free and the home of the brave. They’ve even teamed up with Goldman Sachs, Barclays, and Jefferies. Fancy!

And let’s not forget BitGo, the first crypto IPO of 2026. They raised $212.8 million by bumping their share price to $18. Take that, marketed range of $15 to $17! Goldman Sachs was there too, because apparently they’re the fairy godmother of crypto IPOs.
