Recently, there’s been a lot of buzz about Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, including interviews and exciting news for fans. Just a month ago, a large artbook for Deliverance 2 was released, but their newest announcement is a real surprise for players.
Warhorse Studios recently released a new trailer for Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 on their official YouTube channel, and it’s definitely grabbing attention. While the trailer is full of humor about how over-the-top the game and its announcement are, it’s not an April Fool’s joke – you can actually pre-order it. Anyone familiar with Warhorse Studios won’t be surprised by this kind of release.
The game studio teamed up with Kintsugi Perfumes, a fragrance company based in the Czech Republic, to create a new cologne. It’s designed with a medieval theme and smells much nicer than what you’d expect from that time period!
The collaboration between a game studio and a perfume company was already surprising, but Warhorse Studios made the announcement even more memorable with a funny trailer featuring Luke Dale, the actor who plays Lord Hans in Kingdom Come.
You can now experience the scent inspired by the game Kingdom Come Deliverance thanks to a limited-edition perfume collaboration. It’s available in two sizes: a 50 ml bottle for around $180 and a 2 ml sample for $10. According to Kintsugi Perfumes, the scent is described as follows:
This fragrance begins with a crisp, fresh scent of apple and herbs, evoking natural landscapes and memories. The heart unfolds with calming lavender, mint, and chamomile, gently blended with rose and elderflower, and hints of forest honey and wild sage. The scent settles on a base of smoky incense, leather, and dry papyrus, reminiscent of familiar places and experiences. — Kintsugi Perfumes
Many fans are disappointed to learn that the official Kingdom Come Deliverance perfume is currently only available to order in a limited number of European countries. However, the game studio has stated they are actively working to make it available with shipping to the UK and US.
Although you could purchase three copies of Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 for the cost of a single expensive perfume, the perfume’s price isn’t outrageous, particularly considering it’s made with the same attention to historical detail as the game.
Good news! Every perfume bottle comes with a free 2 ml sample so you can try it before buying the full-size $180 bottle. If you don’t like the scent, you can return the original bottle to Kintsugi Perfumes for a refund, minus the cost of the sample.
Although the studio is reportedly working on a new Lord of the Rings RPG, Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 continues to be a promising game with unique and interesting content planned for the future, as shown by these recent releases.
