Life Is Strange: Double Exposure - All Chapter 5 Polaroid Locations

As a seasoned fan of Life Is Strange, I must say that each chapter has been a rollercoaster ride of emotions and intrigue. But let me tell you, Chapter 5: Double Exposure has been a real challenge when it comes to finding those elusive Polaroids! With only three to find in this chapter, they’ve been hidden like secrets in the pages of a mystery novel.

In every chapter of “Life Is Strange: Double Exposure“, you’ll encounter secretly placed Polaroid photos tucked away in diverse spots across each scene. But keep in mind that the quantity varies per chapter, with Chapter 5 only offering three Polaroids to uncover.

In order to ensure they don’t overlook hidden elements, players must alternate between exploring the Dead World and the Living World. This rule applies even to the last Polaroid in the game.

Polaroid #1 – Hoo?

In Chapter 5, the game continues as the characters return to the path leading to the vantage point. No Polaroids are found at this level; instead, they must move forward in the story until they reach the rooftop with Moses. To accomplish this, they should climb the trail and shift to the next scene at the junction. Here, they will encounter Diamond and can utilize the main entrance of the college building to ascend to the roof. Upon reaching the rooftop, players will discover the Polaroid perched on the railing near some of Safi’s preferred sweets.

The soundtrack with this Polaroid effectively creates an unsettling ambiance and illustrates the fragmentation of reality, particularly in the concluding chapter. For the second instance, players can traverse this rooftop to find a Polaroid; however, this is unique because only here will they discover one available.

Polaroid #2 – Party W/ The New Bff!!!

In the upcoming sequence, Max will be transported to Blackwell Academy, the spot where Chloe was wounded and where Max initially uncovered her abilities. You’ll observe a conversation between Max and Safi that mirrors the one between Chloe and Nathan earlier. To capture this Polaroid, gamers must simply rotate the screen to glance behind them once they regain control of Max.

Should players advance to initiate their exploration, there’s a chance they could leap into the subsequent scene, thereby overlooking this Polaroid snapshot.

Examining this Polaroid triggers an imagined conversation between Max and Chloe, a conversation that did not occur in reality. This illusion contributes to the suspenseful mood, suggesting that the situation is increasingly unsettled and the story is approaching its critical point.

Polaroid #3 – Tell Me About Your Telescope

Characters can advance the plot until they’re once again at the bar with Amanda. After regaining control over Max, look for a location where you can switch timelines right before you, which is marked by floating lights. Proceed to this area and interact with the lights, then move towards the stage within the bar. Stay inside the bar as it advances the story. You’ll discover the Polaroid on a table positioned in front of the stage on your right-hand side.

As a gamer, if I’ve been meticulously gathering all the Polaroids hidden in this game, this is the final one I’ll be snapping up. Not only will it complete my collection, but it’ll also unlock an Achievement or Trophy. With this last piece in place, I can finally wrap up my gaming journey with Double Exposure and uncover which ending awaits me at the finish line.
