As a seasoned gamer with a penchant for all things Jackbox Party Pack, I must say I am thrilled about the upcoming release of the Jackbox Naughty Pack. Being an adult gamer, it’s always refreshing to see games that cater to our maturer tastes without compromising on fun and entertainment.
On September 12, the initial M-rated Jackbox game titled “Jackbox Naughty Pack” is due for release. This particular edition of the Jackbox Party Pack series will present players with three mini-games specifically designed for mature audiences.
A Mature-rated adaptation of a Jackbox Party game is quite logical given that some player responses may not be suitable for all age groups. This new offering promises to bring a unique twist to the gaming world, as party games are often designed with a family-friendly approach in mind.
Previously in April, Jackbox had announced its mature-rated game titled “Jackbox,” and now fans can look forward to playing it much sooner as it’s set to release on September 12 across various platforms like PlayStation, Xbox, Switch, PC, Amazon Fire TV, and Apple TV. The game will cost $21.69 upon launch and includes the exciting games “Fakin’ It All Night Long,” “Dirty Drawful,” and “Let Me Finish.” Notably, those who already possess Jackbox Games on their PC will be thrilled to learn that the new release is also compatible with the Jackbox Megapacker.
Jackbox Naughty Pack’s Games
Among the three games available for this specific Jackbox title, two are expansions or continuations of previously known games within the series, which dedicated fans should find familiar. The third option, however, represents a fresh, brand-new release. Regardless, all these games support gameplay among 3 to 8 players.
- Fakin’ It All Night Long is a social deduction game that selects one secret “faker” per round who must lie in response to the questions asked, while those kept in the dark have to try and guess who the faker is. Fakin’ It All Night Long will also include remote play mode for the first time, so players can join in from other locations.
- Dirty Drawful is a drawing and guessing game that sends a prompt to each player and tasks them with drawing a picture based off of it. The other Drawful players must then guess what the prompt was that the player’s drawing is trying to depict.
- Let Me Finish is a brand-new debate game. The premise is that the title will offer a question like “Where is the mailbox’s butt?” or “How does this avocado get aroused?” and it’s up to players to decide what the answer is to them and then argue their position with the other players.
