The action-packed anime “Jujutsu Kaisen” has soared in popularity, becoming one of the best-loved anime ever made among fans. While its concept may appear straightforward, MAPPA’s impressive animation elevates each thrilling battle. The cursed abilities featured in the series are captivating to watch, as their inventive nature keeps every fight engaging and unique.

It seems as though we’re observing evenly-contested battles where both fighters are equally matched in skill, there are times when watching one fighter whitewash the other is extremely cool. Jujutsu Kaisen specializes in the latter, with some of the most one-sided fights in the series letting fans witness cursed techniques that are no joke.

5 Yuta Okkotsu VS Suguru Geto

Cursed Child Arc

Most One-Sided Battles In Jujutsu Kaisen
  • Victor: Yuta Okkotsu

In this captivating scene, Yuta stands as a master strategist, displaying calm and confident demeanor. He has no need for violence or conflict, only to guide and instruct his allies in the art of war. This leads to a peaceful resolution with Rika’s demise, removing any animosity or tension from his final battle against Geto.

Following the script by Inumaki’s Cursed Speech, Uzumaki utilizes it to annihilate Geto’s cursed entities. A solitary blow strikes Geto, propelling him violently away. Enraged, Uzumaki harnesses the power of over four thousand spirits to unleash Ultimate: Maximum. With the force of affection, Yuta releases a surge of energy that halts the conflict and gravely injures Geto.

4 Megumi Fushiguro VS Aoi Todo

Fearsome Womb Arc

Most One-Sided Battles In Jujutsu Kaisen
  • Victor: Aoi Todo

It appears the battle between Todo, Mai, Ambush, Nobara, and Megumi is one of the most intriguing contests in the realm of martial arts. The brawl begins with a roundhouse strike that sends Megumi soaring prior to Todo unleashing a beatdown for the ages.

It’s difficult not to empathize with Megumi, as she is utterly embarrassed by the Kyoto Jujutsu High student. The fact that Todo doesn’t even try to use Boogie Woogie demonstrates how casually he approaches this fight. If his Cursed Technique was activated and neither Panda nor Inumaki intervened to halt this beating, then Megumi might have lost her life.

3 Sukuna VS Jogo

Shibuya Incident Arc

Most One-Sided Battles In Jujutsu Kaisen
  • Victor: Aoi Sukuna

The Shibuya Incident is one of the most significant story arcs in the anime series Jujutsu Kaisen, featuring numerous encounters that will astonish fans due to the incredible amount of power displayed. After Jogo demonstrates his Disaster Flames to overpower several jujutsu practitioners, he comes across Sukuna and initiates a battle to show his dominance over her. This was the biggest and final mistake this cursed spirit would make.

It’s really embarrassing to watch Jogo unleash his strongest abilities, yet Sukuna seems to underestimate him and doesn’t take him seriously. To make matters worse, after delivering a brutal beating, Sukuna uses his pyrokinetic powers against Jogo. The cursed spirit thinks that the fight is within his expertise now, but unfortunately for him, he meets an extremely humiliating end by being burned to death off-screen in one of the most shameful deaths portrayed in the series.

2 Satoru Gojo VS Toji Fushiguro’s Rematch

Gojo’s Past Arc

Most One-Sided Battles In Jujutsu Kaisen
  • Victor: Satoru Gojo

A flashback detailing Gojo’s history and his connection with Geto is a useful method for introducing some characters related to the Shibuya Incident while demonstrating how Gojo became such a formidable jujutsu sorcerer. In their initial encounter, Toji dealt what seemed to be Gojo’s demise by slicing him into pieces. But in an unexpected turn of events, Gojo utilized the Reverse Cursed Technique to heal himself at that moment. Overwhelmed by his newfound abilities, Gojo confronted Toji again, with the latter feeling something amiss from the beginning.

Gojo initiates with the Counterattack Reversal: Red, a potent method used to position Toji at the rear, as he strives to counter this assault. Nonetheless, his gravest ordeal was still not over. The aftermath of his close-to-death encounter had yet to recede, as Gojo merged the abilities of Blue and Red to deploy the Hollow Technique: Purple, a method so devastating that Toji was left gasping for his shattered heart, along with a significant portion of his body. It’s one of the most gruesome deaths in the series that underscored the vast power Gojo wields.

1 Sukuna VS Finger Bearer

Fearsome Womb Arc

Most One-Sided Battles In Jujutsu Kaisen
  • Victor: Sukuna

It seems that Sukuna was involved in a series of intense power struggles against Gojo at the very beginning of the story, but the fans remained unaware about the true extent of his powers. When Yuji encounters himself against the ropes while dealing with a Finger Bearer, Sukuna’s spirit awakens within him as he takes over the battle. Cursed spirits may be the scum of the earth, but it’s hard not to feel bad for the Finger Bearer after fans witness him being beaten to a pulp in one of the most humiliating beatdowns in anime history.

As a fervent admirer, I find myself caught in awe as this accursed entity swiftly regenerates, a blessing that soon becomes a curse when it’s sliced into fine strips by Dismantle and Cleave. However, the Finger Bearer contemplates retaliation, just for Sukuna to flaunt his Domain Expansion and summon his Malevolent Shrine, swiftly vanquishing the spirit and retrieving his finger in the process.
