Naruto: 6 Villains Stronger Than The Akatsuki

Throughout most of the Naruto series, the Akatsuki are a powerful group of rogue ninjas, with different leaders taking charge at various times. They were made up of highly skilled ninjas, each strong enough to be a leader in their own village. However, the story features several villains who are even more powerful than the Akatsuki, with some capable of global destruction.

Madara Uchiha

Though not necessarily the most powerful villain in the series, Madara Uchiha is definitely one of the most memorable characters created by Masashi Kishimoto. Born as the reincarnation of Indra Otsutsuki, Madara possessed immense natural energy. Through rigorous training, he became the strongest Uchiha of his time. He mastered the Mangekyo Sharingan and later achieved Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan. Madara also obtained the Rinnegan by taking flesh from Hashirama and incorporating it into his own body.

When Madara came back during the Fourth Great Ninja War, things changed drastically. He became the host of the Ten-Tails and even absorbed the God Tree, which unlocked his Rinnegan. Honestly, it made him nearly unstoppable. I watched as he became so powerful that even the entire Akatsuki organization, working together, wouldn’t have stood a chance against him. It really showed just how immense his power had become.

Toneri Otsutsuki

Toneri Otsutsuki first appeared in the movie The Last: Naruto the Movie. He was a descendant of Hamura Otsutsuki and, like his ancestor, he gained the power of the Tenseigan. Toneri aimed to destroy the world created by Hagoromo. Once he awakened the Tenseigan, his power increased significantly, allowing him to use Tenseigan Chakra Mode and reach a level comparable to Naruto Uzumaki.

Toneri was incredibly powerful – a true force to be reckoned with. He could even cut the moon in half with his strongest attacks, putting him far above the level of the Akatsuki. They wouldn’t have stood a chance against him and his Tenseigan powers. Only someone like Naruto Uzumaki, possessing the power of the Six Paths, could possibly defeat him. It’s a shame Toneri wasn’t used more in the Boruto series, as he’s a compelling character with immense strength.

Kinshiki Otsutsuki

Kinshiki Otsutsuki worked with and protected Momoshiki. Like all members of his clan, he possessed unique powers. Kinshiki’s Byakugan allowed him to use Space-Time Ninjutsu, a skill not previously demonstrated by anyone else with that dojutsu. He could also create incredibly powerful weapons using a special technique and red chakra – these weapons were far stronger than anything other ninja had access to.

Kinshiki was an incredibly powerful fighter, able to battle Sasuke Uchiha as an equal and even challenge opponents at the Six Paths level. He was so strong that the entire Akatsuki team wouldn’t have stood a chance against him. Sadly, his full potential was never revealed because he was absorbed by Momoshiki Otsutsuki, but it’s clear he would have been a devastating force in battle.

Kabuto Yakushi

While the members of Akatsuki were all very strong, Kabuto Yakushi surpassed them all. He could revive countless powerful, deceased ninja using the Edo Tensei technique. After reaching his full potential, even Itachi struggled to fight him. At his peak, Kabuto was so powerful that not even Sasuke and Itachi working together could win. Itachi ultimately had to use the special technique Izanami to stop him, and without it, he would have been unstoppable.

Kabuto was incredibly powerful, capable of defeating almost any Akatsuki member in a solo fight. He achieved this through a combination of his Sage Transformation, the abilities he gained from Orochimaru, and the skills he learned as a Sound Ninja. His Snake Sage Mode was particularly devastating and would likely overwhelm most of the Akatsuki.

Kaguya Otsutsuki

Kaguya Otsutsuki is the main villain at the end of the Naruto story. She was revived by Black Zetsu, who used Madara Uchiha’s body to bring her back to life. Kaguya was immensely powerful – even Madara Uchiha, with all his strength, was weak compared to her. It took both Naruto and Sasuke working together just to stand a chance against her, and her power was so great that the entire planet was outmatched.

Kaguya possessed incredible power, including the ability to manipulate and even destroy entire dimensions with her Expansive Truth-seeking Orb. She also wielded Infinite Tsukuyomi, the most powerful illusion technique in the series, which could easily defeat most opponents, including all members of the Akatsuki without much effort. Beyond that, she had numerous devastating close-combat skills like the 80 Gods Vacuum Fist, and could single-handedly obliterate entire armies. Kaguya was so strong she could effortlessly defeat the entire Akatsuki organization without even needing to use her full power.

Momoshiki Otsutsuki

Momoshiki Otsutsuki first appeared in the Boruto movie. As a member of the powerful Otsutsuki clan, he was incredibly strong. He had a special ability to absorb any ninja technique and then return it with even greater power. During the attack on Konoha, Momoshiki managed to defeat a weakened Naruto Uzumaki. Later, after merging with Kinshiki, he was able to fight effectively against both Naruto and Sasuke.

Momoshiki was incredibly powerful, on par with Naruto at his peak, which made him a formidable opponent for any member of the Otsutsuki clan. He was so dangerous, particularly when fused with Kinshiki, that even a combined attack from all the Otsutsuki wouldn’t have been enough to defeat him.
