In the game Wave of the Future, you’ll eventually need a better ID Bracelet, which you can find in the Security Room. Getting in there is tricky, but one option is to solve a math puzzle as part of the “Snoop Around” challenge. This guide can help you with that puzzle, as it can be quite difficult to understand on your own.

How to Find the Math Puzzle in 007 First Light

After Isola departs, you’ll enter an office where you need to improve your ID Bracelet to get into the Command Center. To start, go down the stairs to your left – you’ll find an open office area. A civilian is standing near the Office Key, and you can clear the way by turning on the photocopier.

While the character isn’t paying attention, take the Office Key and go back upstairs. You can now unlock the Locker room. Inside, you’ll find a note with a keypad puzzle, which starts the ‘Snoop Around’ challenge. But don’t forget – there’s still a puzzle hidden within the note itself!

How to Solve the Note With Keypad Puzzle in 007 First Light

The Note With Keypad Puzzle reads:

Today’s archive code (I know how you like puzzles, Carmine)

Digit #1: I am one. (1)

Digit #2: I am two digits higher than digit #3. (8)

Digit #3: I am two digits higher than digit #4. (6)

Digit #4: I am ten digits less than digits #3 and #2 combined. (4)

Hint: The solution is the year of a famous battle.

  • The keypad puzzle solution is 1-8-6-4.

With the keypad code solved, you can now enter 1864E into the keypad by the Archives. This will open the vent, giving you access to the Security Office!
