Novogratz Doesn’t Think Satoshi Is Alive

As a seasoned crypto investor with over a decade of experience navigating the tumultuous seas of digital currencies, I find Mike Novogratz’s insights both intriguing and thought-provoking. The debate about the identity of Satoshi Nakamoto has been an ongoing enigma within our community, and while I have my own suspicions, it’s fascinating to hear perspectives from industry leaders like Novogratz.

In a recent conversation with CNBC, I learned that Michael Novogratz, the CEO of Galaxy Digital, expressed his doubt about the living status of Satoshi Nakamot, the enigmatic inventor of Bitcoin.

If Satoshi Nakamoto were still alive (but I believe he isn’t), I can imagine him beaming with joy, given Bitcoin’s recent soar beyond the $100,000 threshold, as Novogratz expressed in his comment.

Novogratz expresses his belief that Bitcoin serves as a remarkable demonstration of numerous individuals joining forces to accomplish something truly extraordinary.

As a crypto investor, I’ve noticed that while Satoshi Nakamoto originally conceived Bitcoin as a medium of exchange, it has since evolved into something more akin to digital gold, as suggested by the head of Galaxy Digital.

There’s been much discussion over whether Satoshi Nakamoto, the creator of Bitcoin, is still living. One of the main contenders, Hal Finney, sadly passed away in 2014. A more recent HBO documentary suggests Peter Todd, a 39-year-old Canadian Bitcoin developer, as the likely culprit. Yet, Todd and the wider cryptocurrency community have refuted this assertion.

“A vicious retracement is guaranteed”

Novogratz has also noted that there is a Bitcoin buying frenzy around the world. “It’s one of the first global assets,” he noted.

He warned that there is a lot of leverage in the system, which is why he is certain that there will be one or two vicious retracements that “will test your soul.”

“When there is that much leverage in the system, it washes it out,” Novogratz warned.

Bitcoin is currently trading at $97,989 after crashing to as low as $92,980 earlier today.
