Prices on Nvidia’s RTX 50-series Graphics Cards are seeing a drop in Europe, following the company’s decision to reduce costs.
In certain instances, there has been a significant decrease of almost 10% in the prices for the RTX 5090, RTX 5080, and RTX 5070. This price reduction is happening across the region, as the Euro continues to gain strength against the U.S. dollar.
According to VideoCardz’s discovery, the premium Nvidia GeForce RTX 5090 is currently selling for €2,099 – a decrease of approximately 9.88% from its initial price of €2,329. The second-tier RTX 5080 now stands at a reduced cost of €1,059, marking a 9.4% decline from its original price. The mid-range RTX 5070 has seen a decrease of around 9.24%, dropping from €649 to €589. Lastly, the entry-level RTX 5050 has experienced a smaller drop of 6.7%, now retailing for €251.

Despite Europe’s lower prices due to the strong Euro compared to the US dollar, there’s no indication that similar reductions will occur in the United States anytime soon. Given the current economic climate, businesses are seeking strategies to maintain sales and earnings. Essentially, they’re adapting to the powerful Euro rather than implementing significant price adjustments.
