A new trailer for One Piece Heroines was released on March 28, 2026, giving fans a preview of the animation style. The trailer showed several characters who will appear in the story and reminded everyone that One Piece: Heroines is currently scheduled to be released on July 5, 2026, assuming there are no delays.
The new anime will feature a series of short, enjoyable stories centered around characters like Nami, Nico Robin, and Koala. These lighthearted tales are a big reason why so many fans are excited about it. We don’t know exactly how many episodes there will be yet, but that information should be released soon.
One Piece Anime Is Also Returning Soon
Alongside the new content featuring female One Piece characters, the anime released a trailer for the upcoming Elbaf arc. The trailer showed Loki and other giants, characters manga readers know will be important to the story.

The creators naturally wanted a talented voice actor for Loki, and they found one! Yuichi Nakamura will be voicing the character. He’s also well-known for voicing Gojo Satoru in Jujutsu Kaisen.
When the One Piece anime comes back, it won’t be released weekly anymore. Instead, new episodes will be grouped into seasons. Each year, there will be 26 episodes, divided into two parts.
I’m expecting really high quality from the next batch of One Piece episodes. With Toei Animation having more time to focus on production, I think a lot of them will get great scores on IMDb. It’ll be interesting to see if they can surpass the record set by that amazing Jujutsu Kaisen episode, though – only time will tell!
