Orderly Network Announces Winner of WSOT Crypto Championship

As a seasoned researcher with a background in finance and blockchain technology, I’ve witnessed the evolution of cryptocurrency trading from its infancy to the robust ecosystem it is today. The World Series of Trading (WSOT) X Crypto Championships organized by Orderly Network was an intriguing event that showcased the prowess of some of the best traders in the crypto sphere.

In a recent announcement, Orderly Network – a decentralized platform for Web3 trading without permission – declared the victor of the World Series of Trading (WSOT) Crypto Championships: the user identified as @lBattleRhino in the X platform.

The tournament was a four-week competition that began on July 15.

The competition involved twelve top-tier traders, all beginning with a $10,000 investment, and it was organized by platforms such as WOOFi Pro and IBX (Decentralized Exchanges).

In a points system reminiscent of Formula 1 racing, the skilled traders engaged in competition spanning four weekly rankings, earning points according to their standing within each week’s leaderboard.

In the midst of unstable market fluctuations, @lBattleRhino triumphed, winning a $100,000 prize in USDC. The second-place finishers, @gametheorizing and @satsdart, received $50,000 and $25,000 each respectively.

In a casual and straightforward manner: “Alexander, CEO of Selini Capital, mentioned that competitions are exciting, and they often involve aspects of game theory. He explained that our trading competition isn’t solely about making good trades; it’s also about anticipating your opponents’ moves and staying one step ahead. This strategic aspect makes the game even more intriguing,” Alexander said.

The points-based contest showcased the leading trading abilities and solidified Orderly Network’s significance for the future of Decentralized Finance (DeFi).

Based on Dune Analytics’ findings, the Orderly Network has already accumulated more than $8 million in net fees, not including the income produced by builders who use the network’s protocol for their operations.
