As a seasoned gamer with decades of experience under my belt, I must say, the recent skin concepts for Overwatch 2 have truly taken my breath away! The creativity and passion that the community has put into these designs is simply astounding.

As an avid Overwatch 2 enthusiast, I recently dreamt up a skin idea inspired by the captivating world of My Hero Academia, transforming Sojourn into the formidable character, Mirko. The game has always offered a plethora of imaginative original skins for players to adorn their characters with. However, when Blizzard’s shooter began merging with other iconic entertainment universes, it opened up a whole new realm of possibilities for Overwatch 2 cosmetics, delighting players like me.

As a devoted fan of Japanese pop culture, I can’t help but marvel at the unique collaborations that have taken place in the world of Overwatch 2. The first-ever crossover saw the game bring to life skins inspired by the captivating manga “One Punch-Man,” where we follow the journey of the unbeatable Saitama. A second collaboration graced us when Overwatch 2 teamed up with the timeless anime “Cowboy Bebop,” blending sci-fi and Western elements beautifully, while introducing us to iconic characters like Spike Spiegel.

Reddit user ‘KyLu’ posted a design idea for Overwatch 2 character Sojourn, making her look like Mirko from My Hero Academia. The concept includes rabbit ears on Sojourn, similar to those on Mirko, and a white leotard with purple accents and a crescent moon symbol on the chest. Additionally, Sojourn’s leg design mirrors the high-top boots of the My Hero Academia character, as well as her feet that resemble rabbit feet like Mirko’s. Like Mirko, the Overwatch 2 hero is also depicted with a pair of white gloves.

Sojourn Becomes My Hero Academia’s Mirko in Overwatch 2 Skin Concept

As a devoted fan, I want to share that in my latest project, I didn’t merely duplicate Mirko’s attire for Sojourn; instead, I endeavored to design a skin concept that mirrors what it would look like if Mirko cosplayed her favorite character from “My Hero Academia.” Known for her unique rabbit quirk, Mirko showcases remarkable leg strength and an acute sense of danger. This isn’t the first time I’ve dabbled in such creative endeavors; in fact, I previously developed a skin concept that transformed Juno into Ochaco Uraraka.

As an avid fan, I can’t help but be consistently amazed by the creative and impressive skin ideas the Overwatch 2 community shares. KyLu’s artwork is simply outstanding, and it has garnered much praise in the comments section from fellow Redditors. Some Overwatch 2 enthusiasts even discussed potential skins like Doomfist as the founder of the League of Villains, All For One. Although Blizzard hasn’t given any hints about a collaboration with My Hero Academia, Kohei Horikoshi’s work is one of the Overwatch 2 crossovers with anime that many players are eager to see come true.
