This testing phase provides an excellent opportunity for DICE to test out bold and possibly contentious modifications before Battlefield 6 hits the market.

On May 30, FromSoftware’s latest game, Elden Ring Nightreign, made a strong entrance. In just two hours after its launch on Steam, more than 300,000 gamers were already playing it. Publisher Bandai Namco later confirmed that the game had sold over 2 million copies at its debut. Leaving aside the commercial aspect, the cooperative roguelike’s reviews on Steam are currently rated as “Mixed” based on close to 31,000 player feedback by June 1. The mixed reception is primarily due to the game not yet having duo modes and the inability for players to communicate with each other at this stage.

Over the last few months, there have been some significant transformations in Minecraft, with hints about upcoming content and substantial visual improvements. The “Vibrant Visuals” update was officially rolled out earlier this year, revamping aspects from the game’s lighting system to altering its water shadows. Additionally, the “Spring to Life” update debuted in March, featuring seasonal variations for numerous mobs and introducing new blocks. Now, the next major update for Minecraft will include a well-loved new mob that players have been eagerly anticipating.
