The SaGa series, originally known as Makai Toushi SaGa in Japan and The Final Fantasy Legend in Western markets, is one of Square’s long-standing role-playing game (RPG) franchises. Over the years, it has evolved from the original series to Romancing SaGa, with remakes of its first two titles already available, followed by SaGa Frontier. Despite being a niche franchise, SaGa boasts more than ten releases, making it one of Square Enix’s most productive JRPG series.
