Although fans eagerly anticipate more episodes, Netflix has chosen not to produce a third season of The Sandman, as previously announced by showrunner Allan Heinberg that the series would only consist of two seasons, with Dream being the primary focus rather than exploring other characters from the original comic. Unfortunately, this decision follows allegations of sexual harassment against creator Neil Gaiman, who has since parted ways with Amazon’s Good Omens TV adaptation and been removed by his longtime publisher, Dark Horse. While Season 2 of The Sandman will undoubtedly be a mix of joy and sadness for fans, the cast list is growing as we draw closer to its final chapter this year.
