In many instances throughout TOS (Original Series), ideas are presented that aren’t revisited within the series itself, yet they lay the foundation for concepts that would be explored further in later Star Trek movies and shows. Some references are overt, while others are more subtly woven into the narrative. A recent episode of Strange New Worlds, titled “Wedding Bell Blues,” pays homage to an earlier episode from TOS , and brings back a well-known cosmic trickster, none other than the notorious Q.

Among all games, there’s one that constantly draws me back due to its captivating introduction: The Last of Us. It may not be my ultimate favorite, but I’d contend that the games I mentioned earlier provide a more comprehensive gaming experience. However, Naughty Dog has an extraordinary knack for hooking me. In fact, few games manage to introduce their world, story, and gameplay as impressively as the initial The Last of Us does.

The debut of Strange Tales of the West was a significant milestone for Red Dead Online, marking its largest update in years. The previous major update, Blood Money, was released in 2021 and introduced additional criminal activities and the option to rob homesteads and banks. Interestingly, Rockstar Games announced that there would be no more significant updates for Red Dead Online in 2022 as they focus their attention on Grand Theft Auto 6. However, players are now being offered unique rewards with the arrival of Strange Tales of the West.

For instance, Behaviour Interactive added Springtrap from Five Nights at Freddy’s as a playable character in Dead by Daylight last year. Other crossovers for Dead by Daylight released in 2025 include Assassin’s Creed Shadows, Tokyo Ghoul, and Resident Evil, among others.
