The Marvel films that build significant fan excitement before their premiere don’t necessarily match this anticipation every time. Still, the Marvel Cinematic Universe has been successful overall, with not all entries being blockbusters. Nevertheless, those that have succeeded go beyond mere profit-making; they satisfy and surpass their audience’s expectations by delivering an adaptation of the beloved stories from their childhood that is truly worthy. In other words, these Marvel films consistently meet and even surpass the hype surrounding them.

The Mario & Sonic series has produced a range of games, such as the popular ones like “Mario & Sonic at the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games”, “Mario & Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games”, and “Mario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games”. Starting with their self-titled debut in 2007, this crossover series continued to bring out more games based on both Summer and Winter Olympic Games, culminating with the “Tokyo 2020” game, which was the sixth and final installment of the series.

As an excited fan, I can’t help but notice that one of the standout features of the Nintendo Switch 2 is its GameChat social aspect. During the console’s initial unveiling and marketing blitz, GameChat was a significant talking point. While it works wonderfully for multiplayer games like “Mario Kart World,” it doesn’t seem to add much value in a primarily solo experience like “Donkey Kong Bananza.”

However, what catches my attention is how “Donkey Kong Bananza” leverages the Nintendo Switch 2’s mouse functionality. It could very well be the best demonstration of this feature so far.

The game titled “Pokemon Champions” was announced as a spin-off in February 2025 for Switch consoles and mobile devices. Since then, details about the game have been scarce. However, during the Pokemon Presents livestream on July 22, a new trailer showcasing actual gameplay footage was unveiled, disclosing mechanics that had not previously been announced, which grabbed the attention of fans.

Enthusiasm ran high among fans when it emerged that work on Beetlejuice 3 had already started, as confirmed by producer Mike De Luca. Yet, it seems that the production of Beetlejuice 3, despite its popularity and potential advantages for Warner Bros., may not be straightforward after all.

This year marks the third anniversary of Lost Ark, and the North American/European version of the game is rapidly approaching the level of its original Korean counterpart. To commemorate these milestones, the game has unveiled its ambitious 2025 roadmap, which is now in its third phase. Game Rant recently had a chat with Amazon Games franchise lead Matthew Huston, who shared insights on what players can anticipate from this roadmap in the future. Key highlights include the significant expansion of the Paradise progression system and the upcoming introduction of an advanced class called Valkyrie.

This scavenging mechanic is particularly prevalent in post-apocalyptic games, where survival necessitates it, but it’s by no means exclusive to that genre.
