The journey for “Civilization 7” has been quite an extended one so far. After the departure of long-time Firaxis lead Jake Solomon from the studio last February, it was confirmed by publisher 2K that a new “Civilization” game was in production. “Civilization 7” was formally unveiled during this year’s Summer Game Fest, and it was set for release in the year 2025. Moreover, it was mentioned that gameplay would be shown to the public sometime in August 2024.
