As a big fan, I was really excited to hear Lisa Su, the CEO of AMD, talking about the next Xbox! She mentioned to investors that development is going well and they’re still on track for a 2027 launch. This is a big deal because AMD actually makes the chips that power current consoles, so she’s right in the middle of Microsoft’s plans. Microsoft hasn’t officially said anything yet, but hearing it from Su feels like the strongest hint we’ve gotten so far that a new Xbox is definitely coming!

Now, Resident Evil Requiem is getting its own line of Amiibo figures.

Planet of Lana 2, the second game from Swedish studio Wishfully, is a beautiful side-scrolling puzzle adventure. Players will guide Lana and her companion, Mui, through a unique world that combines nature and futuristic technology. Announced in June 2025, the game will be available on Xbox Game Pass from day one, just like Wishfully’s first game. Currently, the developers are aiming for a 2026 release.

Players on Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 will be able to experience Digimon Story: Time Stranger almost a year after its original release on PC and other consoles. Praised as the highest-rated Digimon game ever made, Time Stranger is a time-traveling adventure where you’re sent eight years into the past to uncover a mysterious disaster. Throughout the game, you’ll battle and befriend many popular Digimon, including classics like Agumon and Gabumon. Additional content is available after launch through downloadable content, either purchased separately or as part of a season pass.
