This week, the Epic Games Store is giving away two free games: Eastern Exorcist and Jorel’s Brother and The Most Important Game of the Galaxy. If you haven’t heard of them, Eastern Exorcist is a 2D action RPG where you battle demons using a cool combat system. It received generally good reviews when it came out in 2021. Jorel’s Brother and The Most Important Game of the Galaxy, released in 2023, is a point-and-click adventure game that takes inspiration from the classic titles in that style.

Since its much-awaited launch in late July, Grounded 2 has quickly become popular on Xbox Game Pass, ranking among top games like Fortnite, Minecraft, Grand Theft Auto 5, and Rocket League in the service’s ten most-played titles. Similar to the first Grounded game from 2020, Grounded 2 tells the story of children who are mysteriously reduced to the size of insects, but this time the adventure takes place in a large public park instead of a backyard. As they collect materials, create weapons and armor, and battle scary bugs, the kids work to find a way to return to normal. Now, a new update from Obsidian adds even more engaging gameplay, along with a terrifying new creature to encounter.

So, about half of this set seems to be these “Parallel Foil” cards, which honestly look almost exactly like the regular cards. It’s a bit disappointing that out of the 379 cards in the Deluxe Pack ex, only 26 are actually *new* cards. And get this – they’re way harder to pull than even the rare cards from past Pokemon TCG Pocket sets! Apparently, they can only show up in one spot in the pack, instead of the usual two, making them super rare.

It feels like all that hard work and patience really paid off! Hades 2 is already a massive success for the team. Honestly, after how many awards and how well the first Hades did, I wasn’t *totally* surprised. But let’s be real, making a sequel to a game *that* big is tough. The fact that Hades 2 is off to such a strong start, even though it’s not on every platform yet, is awesome. And the best part? Supergiant isn’t stopping now – they’re still working on making the game even better for us players!
