As a dedicated gamer who’s been hooked on Infinity Nikki since its debut back in 2024, I must admit that I was taken aback by the controversy surrounding Version 1.5. The hike in costume prices and the reduction of our in-game currency have left many players, including myself, feeling a bit frustrated. Add to that the issues that cropped up with the Steam version launch, it’s been a rough ride for us.
Our complaints were loud and clear on the game’s official Steam page, which resulted in the game receiving a Mixed user rating initially. In the weeks following the launch, the situation worsened, with the rating dropping to Mostly Negative. It seems that Infold Games and Papergames have let down our community, and rightfully so, many players are upset.
However, it appears that the developers of Infinity Nikki might be taking some of our feedback into account, if the recent compensation package is any indication. At least, that’s a small step in the right direction towards regaining our trust.
