The highly anticipated game based on the popular zombie series received over a million pre-orders, so Techland surprised players by releasing *Dying Light: The Beast* a day ahead of schedule. Players who pre-ordered the game also received exclusive rewards, including the APEX car skin – a glowing, Volatile-themed vehicle cosmetic – in addition to the previously announced “Hero of Harran” bundle, which features the Harran Combat Knife, In Jade’s Memory Pistol, The Follower Crossbow, Castor Woods Patrol vehicle skin, and the Ultimate Survivor Outfit.

Sometimes, games blend armor, clothing, and building styles from various periods, often set in a vague, general European location. This isn’t necessarily a bad thing, but it does mean historical accuracy isn’t a priority. Other games create incredibly detailed and realistic medieval worlds, but then feature gameplay that doesn’t reflect how things actually were – heroes might dodge attacks, tumble around, or fight with two weapons at once. Despite these inaccuracies, these can still be some of the most enjoyable medieval games.

The recent surge in popularity of JRPGs is great news for fans of the classics. Many older games didn’t receive the praise they deserved when they first came out, and revisiting them now will likely show just how good they really are.

These swords are considered special because they were either crafted by a famous blacksmith or earned their reputation through the deeds of their user. The One Piece world boasts twelve swords of the highest grade – Supreme Grade Blades – along with twenty-one Great Grade Blades and fifty Skillful Grade Blades. As a huge Silent Hill fan, I’m so excited about *Silent Hill f* – it’s the newest game in the series after so long! Neobards Entertainment really seems to have nailed it. It’s coming out on September 25th for PC, PS5, PS5 Pro, and Xbox Series X/S, and early reviews are amazing! Everyone’s talking about how great the story is, how creepy the monsters look, and the really cool setting in 1960s Japan. The only downside seems to be that it’s not running as smoothly as it should on the PlayStation 5 Pro, which is a bit disappointing.

Following his departure from Konami, Hideo Kojima established Kojima Productions and began developing *Death Stranding*, a large-scale, unique open-world game that differed greatly from his previous *Metal Gear Solid* series. He followed that up with *Death Stranding 2: On the Beach*, and is currently working on a horror game called *OD: Knock* for Xbox. For fans hoping for another game in the style of *Metal Gear Solid*, Kojima has announced *Physint*, which will come after *OD*, though details about it are currently scarce.

Okay, so hanging out with my classmates and watching what they do in their free time actually gets me these things called Hope Fragments. They’re kinda important because they unlock helpful bonuses during the class trials. But it’s not always easy getting people to talk to me! Just being there isn’t enough. I’ve realized I need to give the right gifts at the right moments to really build relationships and get to know everyone better.
