As a Battlefield fan, I’m really excited to hear there are 25 Achievements or Trophies to unlock in the campaign! It sounds like a lot of them you just get by playing through the story, but some will need a bit more effort – like doing specific things during missions. Plus, there are 30 collectibles to find, which is awesome! The best part? You don’t need to be a pro to get all the Achievements – you can finish the whole campaign on any difficulty. If you *really* want to challenge yourself, you only need to replay one mission on the hardest setting to get the ‘Peak Performance’ Achievement.

Steam Next Fest starts tomorrow, October 13th, and runs through October 20th. It’s a great chance to try out demos of upcoming games. Hundreds of new demos will be available, letting players get an early look at exciting strategy titles like Heroes of Might and Magic: Olden Era and MENACE – both of which I’ve already previewed for Firaxis and found very impressive.

The *Dissidia Final Fantasy* series started in 2008 with a fighting game for the PSP, bringing iconic heroes and villains from the *Final Fantasy* universe together in 3D battles. An improved version, *Dissidia 012 Final Fantasy*, followed in 2011, adding characters like Tifa Lockhart (*Final Fantasy 7*) and Vaan (*Final Fantasy 12*). While the original PSP games are now considered classics by many, the later reboot, *Dissidia Final Fantasy NT*, wasn’t as well-received. Most recently, the mobile game *Dissidia Final Fantasy Opera Omnia* ended service in 2024.

In *Little Nightmares 3*, the “Home Sweet Nome” achievement is unlocked during chapter 3. To earn it, you need to find six Nomes, and sometimes you’ll have to help them out before they’ll let you give them a hug.

While these resets can be frustrating for players, the developers of Embark are trying a new approach to make them less disruptive.

Despite testing with an open beta, the full launch of *Battlefield 6* still has some problems that Battlefield Studios needs to fix. Players have been quick to report these issues, hoping the developers will address them and improve the game. It’s common for first-person shooters to have a few bugs early on, as they involve many complex systems working together.

Battlefield is making a strong return this year, and while it might take some time to progress at first, there’s plenty to earn. Players who enjoy long-term challenges will be happy to hear that Battlefield 6 features a wide variety of camouflage patterns to unlock for both vehicles and weapons – and it’s possible to collect them all with enough effort. Joe’s Dagger isn’t found by chance or as a reward for completing a quest. You can only get it by playing a lot and defeating enemies. Specifically, you need to defeat 10,000 enemies while using the Dexecutioner weapon. Before you can even do that, you need to unlock the Dexecutioner itself by getting a total of 12,500 sword kills throughout all your game runs.
