Five Nights at Freddy’s, originally a popular video game created by Scott Cawthon, has been brought to life as a live-action film adaptation. The initial movie in this series, directed by Emma Tammi and produced by Blumhouse Productions, hit theaters in October 2023. Although it received a mix of positive and negative reviews, the horror genre flick proved to be a substantial financial triumph, grossing an impressive $296 million globally on a budget of just $20 million. Thanks to its successful premiere, a sequel was given the green light in December 2023. This prequel is set for release later this year, and as per Lillard, it’s even scarier and more impressive than the first installment.
