As a Nintendo fan, I’m super excited for the next few months! February is kicking things off with Mario Tennis Fever, and then in March we’re getting Pokemon Pokopia. Beyond that, there are a bunch of other games planned for the Switch in 2026, like The Duskbloods, a new Yoshi adventure, and another Fire Emblem game called Fortune’s Weave. Plus, everyone’s buzzing about a possible Nintendo Direct happening in early February, which could mean even more games are coming our way soon! It’s a great time to be a Switch owner.

LEGO recently announced some of its first “Smart Play” sets, and they’re based on Star Wars! Given the long-standing partnership between LEGO and Star Wars, it’s fitting that this popular franchise is being used to showcase the new technology. Several Star Wars sets are compatible with Smart Play, but Luke Skywalker’s X-Wing is particularly impressive. Star Wars LEGO sets are known for appealing to both collectors who like to display them and those who enjoy creative play, and this X-Wing offers something for everyone.

After the huge popularity of Stardew Valley in 2016, its creator, Eric Barone, revealed his next game, Haunted Chocolatier, in October 2021. Like Stardew Valley, it has a charming, pixelated art style. In Haunted Chocolatier, you’ll play as the owner of a chocolate shop, collecting ingredients and getting to know the villagers – including both the living and the ghosts! The game will share some familiar elements with Stardew Valley, such as building relationships with characters and engaging in combat.

After you finish the main quest ‘Lodespring Crossing’ in Arknights: Endfield, the ‘Repair Story’ quest begins automatically. Simply go to the Mines Cable Car Station and interact with the SOS bot to start it. You won’t be able to continue the quest right away, though, as you’ll likely need to gather some missing component styles first.

Wildlight Entertainment’s first game, Highguard, had a very eventful launch week. It quickly attracted over 97,000 players, but almost immediately received “Overwhelmingly Negative” reviews on Steam. This rapid decline reminded many gamers of Sony’s unsuccessful hero shooter, Concord, and while Highguard might not meet the same end, the initial negative impression stuck. Interestingly, developers who weren’t even involved in making Highguard are now publicly defending it.
