In the 1980s and early 1990s, there wasn’t a more successful movie star than Arnold Schwarzenegger, even though we should acknowledge Sylvester Stallone too. A quick glance at his filmography reveals he was an unstoppable box-office sensation: “The Terminator”, “Conan”, “Total Recall”, “True Lies”, “Twins”, “Kindergarten Cop”, and of course, “Predator”. Granted, not every movie he made was a hit, like “Red Heat” and “Raw Deal”, but overall, Schwarzenegger chose solid projects and raked in the cash. It’s strange then that he didn’t continue with the “Predator” series, considering his affinity for sequels as demonstrated by “The Terminator”, “Conan”, and even “Expendables”. For whatever reason, Arnold Schwarzenegger never felt compelled to reprise his role as Major Alan “Dutch” Schaefer. However, that has now changed.
