This year sees the addition of several adaptations based on Stephen King’s works, such as “The Long Walk,” “The Life of Chuck,” and now a prequel series titled “IT: Welcome to Derry.” Fans eagerly anticipate uncovering the origins of Pennywise the Clown through a 1960s perspective. Meanwhile, the trailer for the remake of “The Running Man” was released, featuring Glen Powell as the lead character, a role previously played by Arnold Schwarzenegger. Most recently, another adaptation of “The Stand” has been given the go-ahead, with Doug Liman set to direct, known for his work on the “Bourne” trilogy.
