PlayStation Has Delisted Over 1000 Shovelware Games

Recently, there’s been a rise in low-quality, copycat games – often called ‘clones’ or ‘shovelware’ – appearing on console game stores. For example, a game called ‘Ebola Village’ that closely resembled ‘Resident Evil’ was recently found on the PlayStation Store. Similar clones of popular games like ‘The Last of Us’ (‘Grazy Zone Warfare’ being one example) have appeared before on various platforms. Now, PlayStation has taken action and removed all games published by a particularly prolific shovelware developer from its store.
