In The Last of Us Part 2, the series of sad occurrences are intricately connected to convey the sequel’s underlying themes. The intentional absence of player decision-making, like repeatedly pressing ‘square’ to fend off Alice as Ellie or being compelled to fight Ellie as Abby behind the theater stage, is unsettlingly deliberate. It would be intriguing to witness specific moments or sequences unfold differently. For example, Ellie getting trapped by a Rattler may not have been an accident since she ventured to Santa Barbara with the intention of finding Abby, but it would be fascinating to explore how Ellie and Abby might have interacted if both had been captured instead.

On May 8th, it will be one year since the PC release of V Rising, following two years in early access. The game quickly moved to the PS5, debuting on the PlayStation Store in June 2024. As of January 2025, V Rising has sold over 5 million copies and garnered widespread acclaim for its engaging blend of action RPG, base-building, and survival elements.

As a die-hard fan of the Marvel Cinemaverse, I can confidently say that the Russo Brothers’ masterpiece, Avengers: Doomsday, has the power to outshine anything we’ve seen so far in this epic universe. But let me tell you, it hasn’t been an easy journey for Marvel Studios to reach this pinnacle. The unexpected twists with Kang and the dramatic return of Robert Downey Jr have certainly added a layer of complexity. And from what I can see, these challenges don’t seem to be subsiding any time soon.

One street protector who goes by the name of Koichi Haimawari, also known as The Crawler due to his ability Slide’n’Glide, is reminiscent of the main series in its penchant for clever naming conventions when it comes to characters and powers, and Koichi Haimawari certainly fits this mold.

As a gaming enthusiast, I can’t help but marvel at the unique bonding experiences that video games offer. Taro Yoko, the brilliant mind behind this captivating tale, has also left an indelible mark as a scenario writer for Final Fantasy 14: Shadowbringers, and his previous work on the Drakengard series further solidifies his status as a gaming legend.

The PS2 period was a time of greatness for horror video games, with many influential titles in this genre as well as critically acclaimed releases. Games like Silent Hill 2, Silent Hill 4, Resident Evil 4, and Fatal Frame 2: Crimson Butterfly were among the most significant during this era. These games not only shaped the genre but also stood the test of time, influencing developers over the years. A recent game, Post Trauma, is an example of this enduring impact. It’s a puzzle-based horror game that draws inspiration from PS2-era classics. This newly released title boasts a vintage aesthetic with modern enhancements, multiple viewpoints, and puzzles tailored for fans of horror games. However, the excitement surrounding Post Trauma might have been overshadowed by the sudden release of Oblivion Remastered.

Although two seasons of the anime adaptation of Solo Leveling have been released, numerous secrets about the world are yet to be unveiled for those who only watch the series. One such enigma revolves around the origin of hunter abilities. Initially, it appears as if humans simply developed these abilities once gates emerged, but the question remains: how and why were specific individuals bestowed with such powerful abilities?

In essence, although many gamers categorize gameplay and graphics separately, they are actually interconnected aspects that work together to enhance the gaming experience. Graphics can significantly impact gameplay in various ways; for instance, they might stir emotions like fear or suspense, which boost interactive elements, or directly influence game mechanics by responding to visual cues.
