Ever since the unveiling of Dynamax in Pokemon GO, fans like myself have been blown away by the Max Out season’s unexpected twists and turns. Despite a few bumps in the road, the overall response from the community has been overwhelmingly positive, especially compared to previous seasons. And now, with an entirely new event on the horizon, excitement among fans is palpable!
In a fresh blog update, Niantic unveiled an enthralling happening within Pokemon GO, which is linked to the Max Out season. The Mega Mawile Raid Day is scheduled for Pokemon GO on October 12, spanning from 2 PM to 5 PM in local time. During this event, trainers of Pokemon GO will have their first opportunity to capture Mega Mawile within the game. Furthermore, several captivating perks are up for grabs for players during this special occasion.
Pokemon GO Mega Mawile Raid Day Schedule
- Date – Saturday, October 12
- Time – 2 PM to 5 PM local time
Between October 11th and October 12th, the limit for using Remote Raid Passes in Pokemon GO will be increased from five to 20, providing a significant advantage to rural players. During the Mega Mawile Raid Day, players can collect up to five extra free Raid Passes by spinning Gym Photo Discs. If you purchase the event ticket for $5 during this period, you’ll receive an additional eight free Raid Passes from spinning Gym Photo Discs. Battles in Pokemon GO will also have a higher chance of rewarding Rare Candy XL, a resource that has been found helpful by many players in the past. Lastly, players can expect to earn 50% more experience points and twice as much Stardust from participating in Raid Battles during this time.
Additionally, players stand a chance of finding a radiant Mawile during their play. Normally, the probability of stumbling upon a radiant Mawile is approximately one in 50, but since it’s a special Raid Day event, the chances are increased to about one in ten. In general, players can catch a shiny Pokemon in Pokemon GO at around two to three times the normal odds. So, if you participate in roughly 20 to 30 raids, you should be able to secure a radiant Mawile.
