Research Days are regular events in the game Pokemon GO, where players encounter unique Field Research tasks. These tasks help boost the chances of finding rare, shiny versions of Pokemon. The initial Research Day was held in 2019 with Feebas as the spotlight. Since then, it has occurred around 20 times, with the latest event happening last December, focusing on Trapinch, Horsea, Swablu, and Skrelp. In the upcoming years, Pokemon GO is gearing up for its first Research Day in 2025, showcasing various appealing companions.

On March 29th, from 2 pm until 5 pm local time, Pokemon GO is hosting Fuzzy Buddy Research Day. During this timeframe, participants will receive themed Field Research tasks that offer encounters with Teddiursa, Cubchoo, Pancham, and Stufful. These Pokémon may even appear as shiny variants! Additionally, the Pokemon GO City Safari is scheduled for March 29th and 30th in Milan, Mumbai, Santiago, and Singapore. Attendees at any of these cities’ events can also participate in Fuzzy Buddy Research Day.
