It’s been revealed that the Phantasmal Flames expansion for the Pokemon Trading Card Game will be available starting November 14, 2025. With its stunning artwork and the immense popularity of the game in recent times, it’s expected that this second Mega Evolution set will sell quickly. Unfortunately, many dedicated fans have been struggling to secure new releases due to stores finding it challenging to maintain sufficient stock.
In the sixth series, Mega Evolutions have gained significant popularity among Pokémon enthusiasts. The initial English Mega Evolution TCG set is set to launch on September 26th, drawing inspiration from Japan’s Mega Brave and Mega Symphona sets, which will be available from August 1st. Regrettably, The Pokemon Company has announced that the number of pre-release kits for this set will be limited due to persistent product shortages, a situation that has been causing discontent among fans for quite some time. Now, details about the second English Mega Evolution set have emerged through a leak, along with captivating card art and a confirmed release date.
Based on reports from PokeBeach, a popular Pokemon TCG fansite, it’s expected that the Phantasmal Flames set will drop on November 14th. Although not officially confirmed, this set could draw inspiration from Japan’s Mega Gengar EX and Mega Diancie EX decks, along with Inferno X, which focuses on Mega Charizard EX. Pre-releases for this set are scheduled from November 1st to November 9th. If you’re keen on getting your hands on this set, it might be wise to act quickly as stock may initially be limited, and given the appeal of Mega Evolutions, there could be many fans eager to grab these rare cards for their collections.
