Summary
- Pokemon TCG Pocket launched a Gible Drop Event on March 3.
- Players have a chance to earn multiple promo cards, including a Special Illustration Gible, for the duration of the event.
- The ongoing promotion runs until March 16.
On March 3rd, the Pokemon TCG Pocket introduced a time-limited Gible event. This current offer allows Pokemon TCG Pocket gamers to snag several cards and prizes, many of which can be easily collected.
Since its release in October 2024, DeNA’s popular mobile game has been hosting several events each month. The latest event for fans of Pokemon TCG Pocket, which ended on February 27, allowed players to accumulate Darkness-type Pokemon during a widespread outbreak event.
In just a few days, DeNa introduced another promotion called the Gible Drop Event for the Pokemon TCG Pocket game. Similar to previous drop events, players can collect special promo cards by participating in time-limited battles. This event offers four single-player battles: Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced, and Expert. Each battle pits you against an opponent using a Fighting deck. Notably, the first two battles struggle against Grass types.
Pokemon TCG Pocket Gible Drop Event Promo Cards
- Cherrim (PA 043)
- Raichu (PA 044)
- Nosepass (PA 045)
- Gible (PA 046)
- Staraptor (PA 047)
During the Advanced and Master battles within the Gible Drop Event, players come across opponents such as Hitmonlee and Hitmonchan, some of the strongest non-EX attackers in Pokemon TCG Pocket. A Psychic deck typically performs well against these adversaries, but it won’t have an edge against their primary menace—Garchomp EX, which is vulnerable to Grass. As always, participating in the Gible Drop Event calls for event stamina, which refills naturally and can also be restored using event hourglasses. Unlike losses, winning battles doesn’t deplete your stamina.
In every solo battle during a Gible Drop Event, the first victory grants a unique booster pack containing a single Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket promo card as a prize. The prize pool also includes Cherrim, Raichu, Nosepass, Staraptor, and a full-art promo Gible card. Despite its eye-catching design, this card operates exactly the same as the Gible cards found in the Palkia packs from the Space-Time Smackdown expansion and the one recently released in the Triumphant Light set.
Pokemon TCG Pocket Gible Drop Event Runs Until March 16
The two-week long Gible Drop Event in Pokemon TCG Pocket is set to conclude on March 16, at 10:59pm Pacific Standard Time. Battles won during this event grant cards, Shinedust, shop tickets, and hourglasses as rewards, with first-time wins ensuring these prizes. Subsequent victories might yield either a promotional booster pack or one of the other rewards, offering a chance for additional loot. The event also presents unique challenges; successfully completing enough of them will grant several rewards, including some full-sized booster packs.
