Tectonic is throwing a party called the “Quantum Summit” where they’ll talk about how we need to fix the internet before quantum computers come and ruin everything. Because, you know, that’s the biggest problem we’ve ever faced-figuring out crypto before some theoretical computer breaks it. Groundbreaking.

Quantum computing is advancing, which is great if you’re into sci-fi or have a PhD in physics. Jay Jog, Co-founder of SEI, emphasized the “operational challenge” ahead:

“The hardest part of moving to PQC isn’t pure cryptography, it’s coordination.” Of course! Because nothing brings people together like telling them their systems might be obsolete in 20 years. Real team-building.

“Security conversations stall when they stay theoretical,” stated Jake Salerno, VP of GTM at Zero Gravity Labs. Because nothing gets people motivated like pretending a hypothetical threat is an emergency.

“The Quantum Summit is about aligning builders and stakeholders on the practical steps to PQC readiness.” Practical steps? Like buying a ticket to a comedy club in 2026 and nodding along?

Other confirmed speakers include leaders from companies with names like “RadPill” and “Hack VC.” Sounds like a group of people who think “quantum” is just a buzzword to slap on a PowerPoint.
