Fans have been waiting a long time, and now Regular Show is back with more hilarious chaos! Cartoon Network is thrilled to announce the premiere of the new series, Regular Show: The Lost Tapes, today, Monday, May 11th. The Emmy-winning show is available globally now.
As a huge fan, I’m not surprised Regular Show is still so popular in South Africa! It’s awesome how the show has connected with fans of all ages. I’ve been watching it for years, and it’s incredible to hear that it consistently gets over 558,000 viewers every day on Cartoon Network Africa. And it’s not just on TV – the show is killing it online too! I recently saw some Facebook Reels like Meatball Sub and Prove Them Wrong racking up tons of views, and apparently, their YouTube content already got almost half a million views in just the first two months of 2026. It’s clear this show is still a daily favorite for so many people!
TikTok is a huge platform for Regular Show fans, and South Africa has the second-largest audience globally, with over 71,000 local followers actively enjoying content from the show. This popularity is also reflected in the Sunday Times GenNext Survey, which has consistently shown Regular Show as one of the top five coolest cartoons since 2015 – it even climbed to 3rd place in 2025, proving just how much South African viewers love Mordecai, Rigby, and the whole crew.
Don’t miss the premiere of Regular Show: The Lost Tapes today on Cartoon Network (DStv Channel 301) at 5:20 PM! New episodes will also air Monday through Friday at the same time. The first five episodes are debuting today, with five more coming on May 18th.
