A new modification for the game Resident Evil Requiem allows players to experience the story as the character Emily, changing how the game feels both in the main campaign and the recently added Leon Must Die Forever DLC. Following the huge popularity of Resident Evil Requiem, the game’s director, Koshi Nakanishi, announced that Capcom is developing several downloadable content packs, including a story expansion.
Capcom just released “Leon Must Die Forever,” the first downloadable content for Resident Evil Requiem. It’s a challenging mini-game where you play as Leon S. Kennedy, navigating parts of the main story. Be warned: enemies are stronger, and if you die, you have to start the entire game over!
New Gameplay Mod Lets Fans Play Resident Evil Requiem as Emily Across Main Story and DLC
A player on Reddit, username xdman9765, shared a video on the Resident Evil Requiem subreddit showing gameplay with Emily as the playable character in the “Leon Must Die Forever” DLC. This was achieved using a mod called “Replace Leon to Emily” by kuroro490, which has been available on Nexusmods for a while. The mod lets players swap Leon S. Kennedy’s character model with Emily in Resident Evil Requiem.

A clip posted online by kuroro490 shows Emily comically defeating zombies, with the camera right behind her. It’s extra funny because she perfectly copies Leon S. Kennedy’s combat style and iconic lines. The game mode is also really challenging, with difficult enemies and a harsh instant-death system that restarts you from the beginning if you fail.
