According to a recent article by U.Today, David Schwartz has issued multiple cautions to the XRP community via his X handle on the platform. These warnings aimed to protect the community from falling prey to fraudulent schemes that have been circulating within the X ecosystem. In one instance, scammers disguised themselves as the X support team, alleging X users of copyright infringement and requesting them to complete a form with their personal information for investigation purposes.

The second warning was related to the recent hacker attack suffered by the Loopring protocol.

Ripple’s future stablecoin’s name unveiled

This coin, which will be backed by the US dollar, is a project of the San Francisco-based blockchain company. They plan to introduce it with the ticker “RLUSD” once launched.

“The objective behind establishing this stablecoin on the XRP Ledger is twofold: first, it aims to enhance functionality and trading opportunities for the XRPL; second, it serves as a connecting bridge between conventional finance and the cryptocurrency sphere.”

At the beginning of April, Garlinghouse disclosed for the first time Ripple’s plans to introduce a stablecoin. He further expressed confidence in the company’s ability to successfully execute this complex project due to its ample expertise, experience, and resources.

The CEO expressed that Ripple boasts “extensive experience, regulatory influence, a robust financial position, and a network reaching almost every corner of the world” for facilitating crypto transactions using XRP tokens. In the long run, he mentioned that XRP and stablecoins will be utilized interchangeably for these functions.
