Kicking off the conference, I’m excited to participate in a thought-provoking “Regulatory Fireside Chat” focusing on the intricate U.S. Cryptocurrency Landscape. As a researcher, I look forward to listening to Adrienne Harris, New York State Department of Financial Services’ Superintendent, and Stuart Alderoty, Ripple’s Chief Legal Officer, as they share insights into the dynamic regulatory landscape for digital currencies within the United States. The ongoing court case against the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and its position on cryptocurrency is also expected to be a key topic of discussion in this session.
For the upcoming stablecoin launch, a significant discussion is “Delving into the Expanding Stablecoin Market,” which examines the ways that stablecoins are revolutionizing finance and improving transaction speed in our increasingly digital world. The speakers for this session will be Jack McDonald, Senior Vice President of Stablecoins at Ripple; Ivan Soto-Wright, CEO of Moonpay; Bobby Zagotta, Chief Commercial Officer of Bitstamp and CEO of Bitstamp USA; and Nancy Beaton, the dual role holder of Chief Revenue Officer and Chief Marketing Officer at Uphold.

Day 2 Highlights

They will explore how traditional banking is being transformed through the integration of crypto services and how these institutions are addressing new financial needs. Panelists include Erica Khalili, Chief Legal and Risk Officer and co-founder of Lead Bank; Michael Rose, Chairman, CEO, and Managing Principal of Metropolitan Capital; Miles Paschini, CEO of FV Bank; Joanie Xie, Managing Director, North America at Ripple; and Nader Souri, Managing Director at BNY.
Mapping Out Our Future: Examining Ripple’s Product Development Plan
The conference ends with a cozy discussion between Dan Morehead and Brad Garlinghouse titled “Casual Chat by the Fire: Dan Morehead & Brad Garlinghouse.” During this conversation, Brad Garlinghouse will be discussing insights about the current state of the cryptocurrency industry and Pantera Capital’s role in it with Dan Morehead, CEO of Pantera Capital.
